Zombie Air Force Zombie Horde Strategy: Coverage
Choose urgent horde targets, assign coverage across the squad and connect aircraft attacks with the defenses holding your frontline.
The Zombie Air Force horde deserves attention even when a giant Behemoth is on screen. Prioritize the ordinary zombies putting pressure on the line, and tell the squad which area you are covering so every aircraft does not chase the same target.
This gameplay introduction offers a view of the aircraft-and-zombie loop before you organize horde coverage.
Choose urgency over spectacle
A giant enemy is easy to notice, but the most useful target is the one tied to your immediate job. If the squad has committed players to the Behemoth, keep your attention on ordinary zombies and the line. If the horde is already covered, ask whether another area needs help before joining the same attack as everyone else.
This is an editorial targeting rule, not a hidden aggro or damage mechanic. It helps a group distribute effort around two different threats without relying on invented enemy health or spawn counts.
Give coverage a clear owner
| Situation | Useful call | Follow-through |
|---|---|---|
| Everyone focuses on the giant enemy | Say that you are covering ordinary zombies. | Keep that job until someone explicitly takes it over. |
| Another player is already handling your target | Ask where the line needs attention. | Redirect effort instead of silently duplicating the same target. |
| The line needs more help | Name the pressure and request another player. | Let the squad redistribute before returning to its original focus. |
A call should identify a job someone can understand. Saying only that the battle is difficult gives teammates little direction. Naming horde coverage or frontline support lets another player decide whether to help you or continue concentrating on a different enemy.
Pair aircraft effort with defenses
The game combines aircraft attacks with dropped defenses for holding the line. Keep both parts in your plan. If you are concentrating on aerial attacks, another player can pay attention to defenses; if the squad is small, combine the responsibilities and announce when you are switching attention.
After a rough battle, ask what was left unattended. A clearer coverage plan can be the first improvement even before you spend Credits. Choose an upgrade around the job you intend to keep doing, rather than buying something unrelated to the part of the battle that caused trouble.
For the giant-enemy side of the fight, use the Behemoth guide. For a wider attack routine, read the aerial combat guide. Horde strategy stays focused on ordinary enemy pressure and the squad attention needed to handle it.
